LIN slave ROM check fail (FCI reception).

LIN slave ROM check fail (FCI reception).

Volvo TRUCKCIOMcan_communicationnetwork

Что означает ошибка

This DTC indicates LIN slave ROM check fail (FCI reception). It belongs to the CAN/network communication group and is classified as network communication, data exchange or software/update related fault. Reference: code B150245.

Вероятные причины

  • Open/high resistance in CAN wiring Short to power/ground or between CAN lines Missing termination or incorrect bus resistance Module offline or incorrect parameterization Corrosion/water ingress in connectors CAN/LIN/J1939 communication fault Missing message, timeout or invalid data Software/configuration mismatch between modules

Что проверить сначала

  • Confirm whether the DTC is active or stored and record freeze-frame data. Clear the DTC and repeat the operating conditions that triggered it. Inspect the related connector, pins and harness for damage, corrosion, moisture or poor pin tension. Compare the related live-data value with the expected value and with related sensors. Measure CAN high/low resistance and check termination. Check for missing modules and network-related DTCs.

Ведомая диагностика

  1. Read all active and stored DTCs, freeze-frame data and related live-data parameters. Clear the fault memory and reproduce the complaint under the recorded operating conditions. Visually inspect the component, connector and harness
  2. repair obvious damage before deeper testing. Measure power supply, ground and signal/reference voltage under load where applicable. Compare commanded versus actual values and perform actuator/service tests with OEM-level diagnostics. If wiring, power supply and related components test good but the DTC returns, follow the OEM pinpoint test for module/component replacement or software update.

Сервисное примечание

Use OEM service information and wiring diagrams for the exact model, ECU variant and software level. After repair, clear DTCs, perform required adaptations/resets and confirm the fault does not return during a road or service test.
